Samsung just released a statement that they will be releasing the new Galaxy Camera in the UK on November 8th, and a day early at its flagship store in Stratford from November 7th.
The camera is the first from the company to run the Android platform, it runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and comes with a 16-megapixel sensor for quality still images.
The Samsung Galaxy Camera is powered by a quad core 1.4GHZ processor and is fitted with a 4.8 inch touchscreen display, together with a pop up Xenon Flash and 21 x optical zoom lens. The camera comes equipped with 8GB of built-in storage plus it can be expanded with a microSD card slot and 50GB of Dropbox storage for two years, it also comes with a WiFi and 3G data connection.
The Android Camera also comes with connectivity options including an HDMI port and a microUSB port. Unfortunately no pricing details has been unveiled but according to camera shop Jessops the Samsung Galaxy Camera will be priced at £399, in the colors of black or white.
