Samsung Electronics has another Galaxy Smartphone in the process of seeking the approval of the FCC to hit the US market very soon. According to the reports, the device currently seeking approval from the FCC is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite.
The Galaxy Grand Lite is believed to be a slightly less powerful version of the Galaxy Grand 2 that was announced in South Korea back in November. There’s no word on specifications; just rumors, however CES 2014 and MWC 2014 is right around the corner so we will get a preview of the device before it appears on shelves in Best Buy or RadioShack.
According to the rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite comes equipped with a 5-inch display with a 480×800 pixel resolution, its powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage plus a microSD card slot for expansion. There will be a 5-megapixel shooter on the rear side while upfront there’s a VGA camera for snapping gorgeous selfies.
