Samsung Galaxy S II getting Android 4.0 ICS in UK

Samsung made the official announcement that South Korea and a few European countries would be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to their Galaxy S II Smartphone earlier today. UK is one of those countries on the top of the list, Samsung noted that their UK customers will be getting the Android 4.0 ICS update as early as March 19th.

From the update, users can expect a number of improvements over the older Android 2.3 Gingerbread system, improvements includes a new user interface that is more user-friendly as well as the famous Face Unlock feature. Users of the Samsung Galaxy S II in the countries stated for updates, can expect notifications as soon as they downloads are available.
