We have heard rumors of Samsung planning to launch the Galaxy S5 smartphone a little bit early in South Korea. According to the rumor, the handset was to be available earlier than expected via SK Telecom.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 was suppose to go on an early launch because SK Telecom, and a number of other carriers in the country have to stop selling handset between the 5th of April and the 19th of May, after a recent ruling by the South Korean government.
However, Samsung has confirmed to the media in South Korea that the handset will not be sold early in country, instead it will go on sale as originally planned. The Galaxy S5 will be going on sale in South Korea on the 11th of April, the same time it launches globally.
