According to the rumor mill, Samsung is expected to make an official announcement for its next flagship device at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. There will be two models announced, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Recent reports also states that the device is expected to go into mass production as early as next month and the device should hit shelves by March. The report also claims that it should be announced in South Korea by the end of February.
The Galaxy S6 is rumored to feature a 5-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and both features is expected to feature the same resolution display. The Galaxy S6 will run Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop, and will come with two processor options, an eight core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor and an eight core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
The S6 Edge is expected to come with an 16-megapixel camera, where as the Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to come with a 20-megapixel camera. If the rumors are true then we should hear more about the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge during the 2015 Mobile World Congress in March.
