Samsung has been playing with its Galaxy S II Smartphone and developed its little brother which they have dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z. The Samsung Galaxy Z is headed for Three on the Swedish market, it features a bit smaller 4.2-inch WVGA Super Clear LCD Touchscreen display with a 480×800 resolution, it features a 5-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities as well as a front-facing camera that allows video calling but the Galaxy S II get a much better 8-Megapixel shooter.
It is powered by a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor, it runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with the same version of its TouchWiz UI running as found on the Galaxy S II. Other specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z includes WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS Navigation, microUSB port and it weighs a little more than the Galaxy S II at 135 grams compared to 116 grams for the Galaxy S II. Three in Sweden has already start pre-ordering the new smartphone which will go for approximately 3,995kr which is approximately $630 when converted to US dollars.
