There has been numerous reports of issues with the battery on Samsung’s Galaxy S4, issues ranging from the battery overheating and other issues as well. Well with the numerous amount of reports, Samsung has came up with a remedy for this issue… the Korean electronics manufacturer has announced that they will be replacing any batteries on the Galaxy S4 Smartphone that a customer is having an issue with, customers will be able to get their batteries replaced by going to a Samsung Electronics service center.
Samsung has released an official statement telling their customers of how they will remedy the current situation. “We ask all affected customers to please visit their nearest Samsung Electronics service center, where they can receive a replacement battery for free of charge. We remain committed to providing the best possible user experience for our customers.”
I did a little research of my own and found this page on Samsung’s official website which allows you to find the closest Samsung Service Center, by searching with your product type, model name and zip code. If you are having issues with your Galaxy device, then take it back to the retailer you purchase it from, and see if they are offering the replacement batteries.
