Samsung is going into the new year with the title of the largest phone manufacturer in the world, since they have sold more than 420 million handsets worldwide. Samsung has no plans to slow down either, according to the Korean Times, the company plans to increase that figure by more than 20 percent in 2013.
Samsung’s plan to ship 510 million phones in 2013, and this is a task that they will have to complete if they intend to continue compete with Apple. In 2013, Galaxy lovers can expect to see new range of devices running on the Google Android platform as well as a range of devices that runs on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system.
