Over the past weeks, there has been much talk of Samsung planning the release of its next-generation smartphone during the first quarter of 2014.
According to the rumors, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S5 Smartphone at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2014 which will be held in February, however there have been conflicting reports which states that it could be as early as January.
According to the latest news coming from Korean media, Samsung has already started mass producing 5.25 inch AMOLED panels for the Galaxy S5 which boast an impressive 2560 × 1440 pixel resolution, which simply means the Galaxy S5 will have a display with impressive image qualities.
The display itself is said to have a pixel density of 559 ppi, which is way more than its current virals on the market. There are a number of manufacturers that are expected to offer 2560 × 1440 pixel displays in devices next year, but Samsung might end up leading the pack with their upcoming device.
