[CES 2012] Samsung Techwin announced its new SmartCam WiFi IP camera that was designed to provide real-time video and audio surveillance of your property from any internet enabled smartphone, computer or tablet. It features a sleek and slim design that enables to the device to be disguised easily, it comes with a swiveling bracket which will allow it to be mounted to a wall and adjusted to ensure the user gets the shot required. It records videos with a 640×480 resolution at 30fps in H.264 format and has non-visible infrared LEDs that enables it to record objects in the dark up to 15 feet away.
Like the baby monitor, it also comes with an integrated microphone and speaker for two way conversations and the option to automatically start recordings once motion or sound is detected and upload it to a secure YouTube account that can be viewed from anywhere in the world once you have access to it.
