Samsung is celebrating some success for its first Tizen-based smartphone which was launched in India approximately 10 days ago. According to the company, in little over a week of its launch the Z1 has already sold 50 thousand units on the market.
These are some really impressive numbers for the company, since its the first handset to run the Tizen mobile operating system which was developed by Samsung Mobile.
The Z1 is also fully manufactured in India and comes with added bonuses such as access to 70 live channels and approximately 230k songs pre-loaded. Currently the Samsung Z1 is being offered in India for a low price of 5,700 INR which is about $92USD or 82 Euros.
