In addition to the world’s fastest memory for smartphones and tablets, SanDisk has also announced four new USB Flash drives that comes from the Extreme Series. These are the Cruzer Glide, Cruzer Facet, Extreme and Cruzer Pop, each drive comes with its own unique features to fit the users needs.
They all come with the SanDisk SecureAccess software that provides 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection to protect your files. The Cruzer Glide is the company’s highest-capacity USB drive with a storage capacity of 128GB, it features a sliding USB connector so there’s no worrying about loosing the cap. The 128GB Cruzer Glide is expected to be released in Q3 and will go for the price of $249.99.
The SanDisk Extreme USB Flash Drive utilizes the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface to transfer files up to 10 times faster with speed up to 190MB/s, like the Cruzer Glide it also comes with Sliding USB connector. According to SanDisk, the Extreme can transfer 3GB file in 20 seconds. The Extreme comes in the storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, they starts at $64.99.
The SanDisk Cruzer Facet and the Cruzer Pop are the two most stylish of the series, they are aimed at young users and the Facet features a durable stainless-steel casing design with a variety of rich vibrant colors and a faceted texture while the Pop, which is being claimed as SanDisk thinnest flash drive, features rich colors and patterns.
The Facet and Pop USB Flash Drives are both available in 8GB to 32GB capacities and they are available with the price tag of $32.99 to $84.99.
