Today we introduces two new projectors from Sanyo, the PLC-WM5500 and PLC-WM4500. They new projectors both carries similar specs including a 1280×800 WXGA resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 800:1 contrast ratio, they both have HDMI 1.3 input, DVI-D, D-sub, composite video, BNC/RCA and S-video inputs.
They also share similar specs like the Picture-by-Picture Mode which allows the display of two images in fixed screen locations of equal size and the Picture-In-Picture Mode which displays an inset image within the full-frame image. The difference with both is that the WM5500 offers 5500 ANSI lumens brightness and a 330W projection lamp while the WM4500 provides 4500 ANSI and a 275W lamp.
Both has the new Optical Engine and Active Maintenance Filter (AMF) system from Sanyo. Both $5,645 PLC-WM5500 and $4,545 PLC-WM4500 come with the LNS-S20 standard zoom lens, while the $4,995 PLC-WM5500L and $4,095 PLC-WM4500L models have optional lens.
