Seagate has announced one of its most secured external hard drive yet which they are calling the GoFlex Turbo USB 3.0 Hard Drive. The new Hard Drive was announced by Seagate this week, it comes equipped with USB 3.0 interfaces which promises 40% faster data transfers than current USB 2.0 drives which as current available in vast amounts on the market.
The Seagate GoFlex Turbo comes with 2 years of SafetyNet protection included, with SafetyNet users are allowed a one-time data recovery service which ensure the user’s critical data is always protected from threats, physical damage to the drive or human error. If you are living outside of the US this doesn’t apply to you as the SafetyNet service currently is available only to legal residents of US. (That sucks!)
The new GoFlex Turbo Drives with SafetyNet data recovery services comes in the storage capacities of 500GB and 750GB options for the price of $120 and $140, respectively.
