The Sharp Mebius is here and is packing a Touchscreen Trackpad that makes the netbook looks super cool. Really the netbook is set for launch next month.
It is a plain 10.1 inch netbook but has gone to the extreme of netbooks thus far, it has a 4-inch touchscreen trackpad with a 854 x 480 resolution. The trackpad can be used to control the mouse and also be used as a secondary display. It will respond to stylus input or even play videos.
Other than the hype about the touchscreen trackpad, the Sharp Mebius PC-NJ70A has not extra ordinary than a Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor doing the work along with a 160GB hard-drive and 160GB hard-drive but I know consumers will crave it because of the fact that a secondary screen is under their fingers.
There has been no official launch date but we are looking at somewhere in may and we heard it will be in Japan for 80,000 yen which is just about £560 or $817.
