During a 2015 CES Keynote, Sharp announced its upcoming series of Smart TVs that will run Google’s Android TV operating system, the AQUOS UE30 and UH30 4K Smart TVs. The company also unveiled that the series will come with the company’s SmartCentral which is version number 4.0.
The AQUOS UE30 series will be available in a range of sizes from 60 to 80 inches with a price tag of $1,999 up to $5,399, while the UH30 series will be available in sizes ranging from 70 to 80-inches with a starting price up to $3,199. Both series also supports “VP9? codecs, meaning both series will stream videos in 4K resolution.
Sharp said: “SmartCentral 4.0 offers an easy-to-navigate settings and device menu and personalized accounts for each family member. Plus control and navigation are in the palm of your hand with the SmartCentral 4.0 mobile app. Use your tablet or smartphone to browse, search and select content without interrupting what you’re already watching.”
