Shuttle launches its J1 4100 series small form factor (SFF) PC based on Intel G41 Express Chipset on the US market. Three models are available including the J1 4100 for everyday computing and home entertainment, the J1 4100G ready for casual gaming and the J1 4100P for day-to-day professional use. It supports either a Core 2 Duo or a Core 2 Quad processor, All models sport Intel GMA X4100 onboard graphics. The J1 4100 can get four dedicated graphics card options, up to 512MB GeForce GT240 while the J1 4100G can be equipped with GT240 with HDMI port. The J1 4100P, instead, gets optional NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800 graphics card.
It is powered using up to 8GB of RAM, up to 2TB of hard drive, 22x SuperMulti burner and optional Blu-ray combo drive. Additional features includes Ethernet LAN, WiFi connectivity, a PCI-E x16 and a PCI expansion slots. The entry-level version of the J1 4100 Series starts at approximately $799.
