Sony also announced its Cyber-shot DSC-HX30V and DSC-HX20V digital cameras, both camera comes with a 20x optical zoom and a more compact body than the HX10V that we introduced yesterday. They both comes equipped with an 18.2-Megapixel Exmor R CMOS image sensor, a 20x optical zoom lens and BIONZ processor that was designed to rapidly analyze Extra-High Sensitivity data from the sensor.
They also packs Sony’s Clear Image Zoom technology, they can even provide 40x zoom. On the back on both cameras there’s a 3-inch LCD display plus they also offer an HDMI output port. The cameras also packs GPS and Compass to record location data and direction, as well as track your photographic journey with GPS log.
The HX30V stands as the most advanced with built-in WiFi connectivity which allows users to connect and transfer content directly to compatible devices including your smartphone or tablet. They also utilizes the company’s PlayMemories Mobile application which allows users to share content easily to Facebook, YouTube or other online sharing platform. The HX30V and HX20V both feature High speed AF with speeds of 0.13 second in daylight, 0.21 seconds in low-light at 3 EV, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with 3-way Active Mode, Background Defocus, Intelligent Scene Recognition Mode, Face Detection, Superior Auto mode and anti-blink. The HX30V and HX20V records Full HD 1080p AVCHD videos and capture still images with a 13-megapixel quality simultaneously with its Dual-Record Function. They will be released in may for $429 and $399, respectively.
