Sony just introduced a new ruggedized digital camera from its Cyber-Shot Series, dubbed the Cyber-shot DSC-TF1 that was designed specially for active shooters for weekend adventures and family vacations. The new four-proof camera is ideal for those who like to capture every aspect of their vacation, no matter the weather or the moment.
The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TF1 comes with large buttons, it is waterproof up to 33 feet, dustproof, shockproof from falls of about 5 feet and it is also freeze-proof to withstand temperature as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit, making it an ideal device to capture your snorkeling adventures, skiing, hiking or sky diving.
The camera comes equipped with a 16.1-megapixel super HAD CCD image sensor, a 4x optical zoom Sony lens plus there’s the Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with 2-way active mode to deliver blur-free, clear images. There’s the Sweep Panorama mode which enables the user to capture panoramic shots of up to 360 degrees plus a whole bunch of effects and in-camera editing function.
Sony will start selling the new Cyber-Shot DSC-TF1 Rugged Camera on February 8th for the price of $199.99, it will be available in the color options of black, blue and red.
