Sony recently announced two new cameras in its Cyber-shot series that is capable of capturing extremely low-noise images, evoking the expressive power of a digital SLR camera. They are the Cyber-shot WX5 and TX9 that both comes with a 12.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS Sensor and a Superior Auto mode for superb images with DSLR-style low noise performance.

Both Digital Cameras also claims to be the world’s first compact still cameras with 3D Sweep Panorama, they got 3D-style viewing effects and a background defocus mode for stunning professional effects. They both comes in a new and exciting slim body casing, they are capable of shooting detail-packed Full HD (1920 x 1080, 50i) AVCHD movie clips and capture amazing 3D images. Both new 3D-capable camera will be available starting mid-September.

The Cyber-shot WX5 features a Sony G Lens with a 5x optical zoom, there is a 2.8-inch LCD display, weighs 130g and comes in the colors of Black, silver, brown, gold and violet. On the other hand, the Cyber-Shot TX9 features a Carl Zeiss Lens with a 4X optical zoom, there is a 3.5-inch LCD display, weighs 133g and comes in the colors of Dark grey, Gold and Red.
