Sony has once again released a new e-book reader on the market, the Reader PRS-T2 which comes with an enhanced touchscreen display. The new e-Book Reader features a 6-inch glare-free E-ink Pearl V200 touchscreen which has been enhanced for long-term reader. With the new touchscreen display, the user can swipe a finger to turn a page, pinch fingers to zoom in/out and even write notes with finger or using the included stylus.
The new Sony Reader PRS-T2 has 2GB of internal storage, it comes pre-loaded with two languages and four translation dictionaries. It also comes with access to Sony’s Reader Store which offers users the ability to download thousands of e-books, magazines and newspapers.
Thanks to its built-in WiFi connectivity, you can borrow free e-books wirelessly from over 15,000 public libraries. If you are a social media addict, then you will like the new Facebook feature that allows you to post a short passage from books you purchased from the Reader Store directly to Facebook from the device.
Sony now has the Reader PRS-T2 up for sale at the price of $129 in the colors of Black, Red and White, including a voucher for redeeming against the first eBook in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, for free.
