Sony just introduced its newest addition to the line of Walkman series, the Walkman F800 that comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich plus it also comes equipped with a 3.5-inch multi-touch display. It has always been a concern of mine that since the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform has been release there’s hasn’t been a Media player running the OS worthy enough to take on the iPod Touch, but this maybe the device.
The new Sony Walkman F800 supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, it has a range of pre-installed applications which includes email and it also comes with a pair of Sony’s MDR-EX0300E in ear headphones.
The F800 is available in three different storage options including an 8GB, 16GB and 32GB version. Sony also integrated it’s S-Master MX Digital Amplifier and five Clear Audio technologies. No release date has been announced nor any pricing details, but as soon as the information is available we will keep you guys updated.
