Sony has just announced its plans to unveil two new wearable devices, the Sony SmartWatch 3 which is the company’s first device to run the Android Wear software and also one of the first to feature support for new Android Wear features including GPS.
The Sony SmartBand Talk on the other hand is a wearable fitness tracker which comes equipped with an e-paper display. The SmartBand Talk is also waterproof and dustproof, it offers up to 3 days of battery life from a single charge, thanks to its less demanding software and low-power e-paper screen.
The SmartWatch 3, much like Asus’ new ZenWatch comes with a 1.6-inch 320 x 320 pixel TFT LCD transflective display, it comes with 4GB of onboard storage plus there’s a built-in microphone for voice controls.
It offers up to 2 days of battery life, a waterproof case, and support for notifications, music controls, and other basic Android Wear features.
