Sony yesterday unveiled a wide range of A/V Receivers, four to be exact which includes the STR-DN1010, STR-DH810, STR-DH710 and STR-DH510 AV model receivers. The one that stands out is the STR-DN1010 as it is the company’s first 3-D capable A/V receiver. The STR-DN1010 A/V Receiver comes boasting 7.1 channel delivering 110 watts power per channel (@8-Ohms, 1kHz, 1% THD), Full HD 1080/24p, HDMI 1.4 3D pass-through technology, four HDMI ports and an icon-driven menu system.
The STR-DN1010 has the ability to upscale analog video sources to 1080p resolution via HDMI. There is support for Dolby TrueHD, dts-HD Master Audio, Sony’s S-AIR wireless technology and Digital Media Port (DMP) input for simple connection for your devices such as an iPod or iPhone. The STR-DN1010 A/V Receiver will debut in June 2010 for approximately $600. The STR-DH810 will be launched in March for about $400, the STR-DH710 AV Receiver also in March for $300 and the STR-DH510 AV Receiver in March for $230.
