Sony launches its new VAIO L24 series AIO PC which combines PC, HDTV and a monitor into one. The new VAIO AIO is powered by the third generation of Intel Core i5-3210M or Core i7-3610QM processor and up to 16GB of RAM. The machine also comes standard with an integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics and can be equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GT620 1GB or GT640M 2GB graphics.
There’s a 24-inch Full HD LED-backlit touchscreen display with optional 3D support and it is powered by Sony’s BRAVIA Engine with X-Reality chip for enhanced picture quality. Storage-wise, the VAIO L24 is equipped with up to 3TB of hard drive storage or 256GB SSD and a slot-load DVD SuperMulti burner with Blu-ray combo available as an option.
The AIO also comes with a Memory PRO Duo/SD memory card slot, it features integrated NTSC/ATSC hybrid TV tuner with picture in picture functionality and it can also be used as a HDTV for users to enjoy TV shows and a remote control included. Other specifications found on the AIO includes an HDMI input, composite audio and video input.
The VAIO L features Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, there’s an integrated 1.3-Megapixel webcam with Exmor for PC, 4-pin i.LINK IEEE1394 port and USB 3.0 ports. It has four built-in speakers and a subwoofer, the makers also added the S-Master digital amp and S-Force Front Surround technology which will deliver a theater-like experience in your home.
The VAIO L24 starts at $1249 and with this configuration comes the Intel Core i5-3210M, 4GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive, Intel HD 4000 graphics card, DVD burner and a TV Turner.
