Sony has introduced its VAIO S Series of Notebook that comes with an optional 15-hour battery life. It comes in a slim body casing that measures a mere 0.95-inch thin and weighs in at 3.8lbs. It comes with a 13.3-inch Widescreen LCD display with a native resolution of 1600×900, AMD’s Radeon HD 6630 1GB graphics card, Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, optional SSD for storage and powered fully by an Intel Core i7 Processor. Other than all the specs listed above it comes in a variety of colors which includes burnished brown, jet black or platinum silver with magnesium and aluminum materials covering the exterior. A few everyday features added are; integrated microphone, webcam, Blu-ray drive, Intel’s Wireless Display 2.0 and Illuminating keyboard keys. The new Sony VAIO S Series is expected to go for the price of $1350 for its base model and if you wish to get the extra battery life then you will have to chip in an extra $150.
