Sony announced the update to its flagship tablet, the Xperia Z2 Tablet which the company is now claiming to be the world’s slimmest and lightest waterproof tablet.
Sony has announced its new Xperia Z2 Tablet which made its official debut at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Sony announced the new waterproof tablet claiming the device to be the world’s slimmest and lightest waterproof tablet.
The new high-end tablet comes equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a 1920 x 1200 HD resolution, its powered by a 2.36GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM, a 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other specifications of the Xperia Z2 includes GPS, NFC, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 6000mAh battery. The device also gets dual camera including an 8.1-megapixel camera on the rear and an 2.2-megapixel camera on the front. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system pre-loaded and will start shipping in March.
