Sony has announced the launch of its new Xperia Z3, an high-end Android Smartphone. The company took the wraps off the new smartphone at the IFA 2014, it comes equipped with a large 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
The handset is powered by a quad core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with an Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It gets 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB microSD cards.
Sony also fitted the new device with a 20.7 megapixel Sony Exmor RS sensor on the back and a 2.2 megapixel camera on the front. The rear camera also features advanced options such as an ISO range of 3200 in manual model, plus 8x digital zoom, it also comes with a Pulsed LED flash, HDR, and the ability to record 4K video, the front camera is capable of recording full HD video in 1080p.
It also comes with an IP65 and IP68 rating, which means its water and dust proof. It runs the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.4 KitKat.
