It’s been quite sometime since Sprint has picked up a Lumia-brand smartphone, atleast not since Nokia got acquired by Microsoft. The carrier has announced that it will not start offering the low-cost Lumia 635 to its subscribers.
The handset was initially being offered by the carriers prepaid subsidiary, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, but the move will benefit subscribers who requires the use of data daily with Sprint’s unlimited data without having to pay too much monthly.
The Lumia 635 is equipped with a 4.5-inch display, it gets 8GB of storage, a 5MP main camera, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor plus it also offers 4G LTE support. Sprint will offer the Lumia 635 for $168 or pay 7 per month over two years. The handset comes in three colors, but its what colors will be offered by the carrier.
