RIM’s new Blackberry PlayBook 4G Tablet was just unveiled and will be available to Sprint subscribers this summer. The PlayBook is a 7-inch Tablet that is powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core Processor, its features a 1024×600 capacitive touchscreen display, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will be available in three different models including a 16GB version, a 32GB version and a 64GB version. The BlackBerry 4G PlayBook will be launched this summer on the Sprint’s 4G(WiMAX ) network, this model that will be launched by Sprint will feature the same specs as the original BlackBerry PlayBook but it will be the first PlayBook model to include wide area wireless connectivity including 4G.
Other specifications includes Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity, HDMI port and dual HD cameras for video calling. Sprint has not release any pricing information for the new BlackBerry Tablet but we will have more information closer to its launch date.
