Sony made the announcement at the 2015 CES in Las Vegas that they are about to launch a new stainless steel version of the Sony SmartWatch 3, and finally we found footage of the sturdy wearable device in action. The video shows off the features of the stainless steel version, previously it has only been available with silicone straps.
The stainless steel version also runs the Google’s Android Wear operating system, its powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage capacity.
The device is fitted with a 1.6-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, the watch also comes with an IP68 certifications which means it is protected from the elements.
No exact launch date or pricing details has been announced by Sony, but we will keep you updated as more details regarding the Stainless Steel SmartWatch 3 surfaces.
