Sony launched its flagship Xperia Z1 last month at the IFA 2013 trade show in Berlin, Germany. Currently the smartphone is available unlocked from various retailers across the world, however there has been no confirmation of the smartphone heading to any US carrier is just yet.
However, according to rumors circulating the internet right now the new Sony Xperia Z1 is expected to arrive on the US market via T-mobile. An image of the Xperia Z1 was uploaded to the internet showing a T-Mobile logo on its back panel, the image leak is all courtesy of @evleaks.
The Sony Xperia Z1 comes equipped with a 5-inch full HD display that has a 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, 3,000 mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The Xperia Z1 also has IP58 certification meaning its dust and water-resistant.
