T-Mobile announced its new SpringBoard 4G Tablet that was made by Huawei. It is a 7-inch tablet that runs the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. The SpringBoard supports Adobe Flash player and also comes pre-loaded with services and applications such as the Blio eReader, MobileLife Family Organizer powered by Cozi, Slacker Radio and TeleNav GPS Navigator that offers audible turn-by-turn and on-screen driving directions.
Some of the specifications that you can expect from the T-Mobile SpringBoard includes a 5-Megapixel camera that has the ability to record 720p HD videos, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity as well as support for tri-band UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. It is equipped with and HDMI port which enables the user to stream videos to their HDTV, it has 16GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for expansion.
There has been no word on pricing nor release date but since it includes support for T-Mobile’s 4G, 3G, EDGE networks it should be tied to a data plan if you decide to get it when it is released.
