Sony initially announced its new Xperia T2 Ultra during the Consumer Electronics Tradeshow 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now it appears that the handset will be finally arriving at US-based carrier T-Mobile. The handset was spotted making its way through FCC sporting T-Mobile compatible radios.
The Xperia T2 features a big display but because of it’s hardware specification, the Xperia T2 is being marketed as a mid-range device. Now that the device is cleared for launch in the US, we will be seeing it appearing at T-Mobile stores very soon.
Sony’s Xperia T2 will be available in two different models one is the normal version and the other is a version that will feature dual SIM capabilities, however they both feature the same specifications inside. It features a large 6-inch 720p HD display, powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot.
With dual cameras; there’s a 13-megapixel shooter on the rear while a 1.1-megapixel selfie shooter is upfront. It features a 3000mAh battery and should have the latest version of Android running on it.
