Roku has announced its latest entertainment solution for your HDTV called the Roku Streaming Stick. It is an ultra-portable WiFi-enabled dongle that enables your to have access to online movie streaming services such as Netflix, HBO Go, Hulu Plus, Pandora and other on-demand IPTV right on your HDTV. The stick takes advantage of MHL-compliant HDMI ports that can supply power as well as control signals to the TV’s remote.

The flash-drive like stick comes equipped with a processor, memory and software along with wireless connectivity. It allows access to same 400 plus channels of content as its existing set-boxes presently on the market.

No pricing details have been announced for the Roku Stick but known that the company already have device that offers the same services such as the Roku LT for as low as $50, the Roku Streaming Stick should list somewhere in that region.
