Three UK has announced that the HTC Windows Phone 8S is now available to their subscribers, the handset is being offered for free to customers who signs up for a 2-year contract with plans starting at 17 GBP / $27 monthly or 179.99 GBP / $288 on Pay As You Go.
The Smartphone has been on the market for quite sometime now but has finally arrived on the UK carrier product listing, as a reminder it comes with a 4-inch WVGA Super LCD Touchscreen display, it is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor, a 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that will support up to 32GB of storage.
There’s a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera that comes with autofocus, dual LED flash, it utilizes a f/2.8 aperture on a 35mm lens which enables the user record 720p HD video and has a dedicated camera button to quickly launch the application at a moments notice, the camera lacks a front-facing camera.
It supports network types: GSM, GPR, EDGE, CDMA, HSPA, WCDMA and was released in Europe, Asia, and North America at the beginning of November 2012. It comes with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, a 1700mAh Li-ion Polymer battery and runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system.
