It’s safe to say that the Powerbag from ful has now gotten so pretty serious competition, Timbuk2, a popular manufacturer of travel bags just announced their new Power Commute messenger bag and Power Q backpack.
The new bags are products from collaborating with Joey Energy, both bags comes with Joey’s T1 power supply. The bags was designed and developed with the ability to recharge your gadgets while on the go. The highlight of the new Power Commute messenger bag and Power Q backpack is that the charger in the bag is water resistant and has a corded satellite USB for charging.
The power source in the bag is easily re-charged by simply plugging it into the wall and it will immediately start charging once plugged in. The Power Commute is an TSA compliant bag, it features a removable shoulder strap and a faux-fur lined phone/gadget compartment. The Power Q on the other hand is the backpack model which comes with a special compartment for your laptop as well as a well ventilated back panel.
Both bags will be available for sale on Timbuk2?s website starting in October for the suggested retail price of $199 and it will hit retail stores in February 2013, which is kind of long to wait.
