TomTom has announced two new GPS devices, the XL 350 and the XXL 550. The XL 350 comes boasting a 4.3-inch display and comes with pre-loaded maps of the US for a price of $169.95 while the XL 550 comes with a 5-inch widescreen display, according to gpstracklog, they say the XXL 550 has a 4.3-inch display but Amazon say 5-inch, so am going with Amazon. These navigators will sport the same simplified menu American fans have seen on the TomTom EASE.
The TomTom XXL 550 goes for a price of $199.95, both models are actually based on models from Europe that uses the XL IQ routes. There is also an option to get lifetime maps and optional lifetime traffic updates if you are planning to pay more than the listed price. The XL 350 lifetime maps edition is on Amazon for $208 while the XXL 550 Lifetime Maps edition is being pre-ordered for $229.
