Toshia has a new tablet device that is expected to be available in Australia by the end of this month for the price of $579. It goes by the model name AT100, the Toshiba AT100 Tablet comes equipped with a 10.1-inch display with a 1280×800 resolution and packs the power of a NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual-Core Processor. Along with its dual-core processing power, it packs 16GB of flash memory and 1GB of RAM.
What makes the AT100 different from the other tablets presently available on the market is that it comes with a removable and replaceable battery, there are various color and designs for the back cover which can also be removed or replaced. There are also a few upgrades in its I/O department as it features a full size USB port and HDMI output as well. Other specifications of the Toshiba AT100 includes a 5-Megapixel Camera on the rear of the device, a 2-Megapixel camera on the from for video calling, WiFi connectivity and a SD card slot for expanding the device’s memory.
For users who wants to pimp out their AT100, Toshiba will also be offering back covers for $29.95, a hard shell that doubles as a stand for $49.95, a dock with HDMI port, USB port and speakers for $89.95 plus a 6-cell battery pack for $79.95.
