Toshiba just launched what seems to be the rugged version of the Camileo B10 that is expected to be launched later next month, its the Camileo BW10 and it is the first waterproof video camera for the company. Both the BW10 and the previously reported Samsung W200 are definitely competitors even though the W200 can be submerged up to three meters while the BW10 stops at approximately 2 meters. It also comes shockproof, has the ability to record 1080p MPEG-4 videos and snap 5-megapixel still images like the W200. There is a f2.8 lens for recording in low light, a 2-inch LCD display, image stabilization, mini USB and a pre-installed software that helps with the uploads to youtube. The Toshiba Camileo BW10 should already be on shelves nationwide for a suggested market price of $149.99 or $130 on Amazon. It comes in the colors of Silver and Yellow. There is no word on how much internal storage is expected but we know that it supports SD/SDHC/SDXC card up to 64GB.
