In addition to its Camileo X200 and X400, Toshiba also recently added another Camcorder to its Camileo line of products, its the Camileo CLIP Full HD Mini Camcorder. It is said to be the first Full HD mini camcorder that the company has ever made, it measures just 46.5mm x 80mm and features a ruggedized and splash-proof casing making it an ideal device for outdoor enthusiasts. Its design features a robust clip at its rear side to attach the camcorder to the user’s jacket so they can record activities without having to hold the device in hand.
Specifications of the Camileo CLIP includes a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor with backside illumination technology as found on the Camileo X200 and X400 Cams, it can be used to capture 16-Megapixel still images and records Full HD 1920×1080 video at 30fps in H.264 HD video format. The CLIP also features electronic image stabilizer, it has a 10x digital zoom, a mini HDMI output for showing your video on bigger screens plus there is a memory card slot that supports SD, SDHC and SDXC cards. Toshiba has plans to release the Camileo CLIP Mini Camcorder during Q4 of 2011, no pricing information has been announced.
