Toshiba has step in-front of the competition creating a milestone with the world’s first 4K laptop, which joins its Satellite line of devices, dubbed the Satellite P55t. The laptop will be available as early as next week and will come with some really impressive features.
The Satellite P55t Laptop comes equipped with a 15.6-inch TruBrite touchscreen IPS display with a 3840 x 2160 resolution, making it the first 4K laptop on the market paving the way for others plus it’s also the first notebook to receive Technicolor Color certification as well.
In addition to its ground breaking display, Toshiba added the hardware for you to make the most of the display. It will be powered by a Haswell Intel Core i7 processor with up to 16GB of DDRL3 RAM, and an AMD Radeon R9 M265X graphics card with 2GB of GDRR memory. How lame would it be if there was an awesome screen but no audio to back it up, that’s why Toshiba added Harmon Kardon speakers backed by DTS audio processing for pure awesomeness, and a brush metal finish and edge-to-edge glass on the display.
Other specifications includes 1TB of Hard drive storage, an SD card slot for addition storage, four USB 3.0 ports and even an HDMI output port for connections to your huge screen Television. It supports WiFi connectivity of course, a Blu-ray rewritable drive and an installation of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.
Toshiba plans to launch the Satellite P55t on April 22nd with a suggested retail price of $1,500 which isn’t bad since it has some really impressive specifications, a high-end device indeed.
