In the next few weeks Microsoft’s Windows 8 platform will be released into the wild, and Toshiba just announced its new Satellite S800 Series of laptops that will run the Windows 8 operating system. The new series will be available in two different models, a 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch screen.
Users gets the option to configure their laptops with 3rd generation Intel Core processors or AMD A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APU) with optional AMD Radeon HD 7570M graphics with up to 2GB DDR3 graphics memory and up to 8GB of RAM.
The laptops offer up to 1TB of storage and can also be equipped with an optional Blu-ray Disc player. Encased in Toshiba’s stylish yet durable brushed aluminum finish in Ice Blue.
The new Satellite S800 Series is now available with 15.6- or 17.3-inch diagonal HD TruBrite displays for the prices of $699.99 MSRP and $749.99 MSRP, respectively.
