Toshiba has a new tablet device coming to the market called the Thrive. It will debut as the company’s tablet for the US market, late last month it was listed on J&R’s website but the company confirmed that the pricing was wrong. It comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a 1280×800 resolution and will be available in three different options; 8GB model that is priced at $429, a 16GB model that will go for $479 and a 32GB model that goes for $579. Other specifications includes a Tegra 2 Processor, it runs the Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS, it will come with dual-cameras, a 5-megapixel camera on the rear, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for facetime chats, USB port, SD card slot and HDMI port. According to word out there, it should start pre-orders on June 13 at Best Buy but shipment won’t start until mid-July.
