U.S. Cellular has announced a new Android-Powered Smartphone that it is about to unveiled to its subscribers known as the LG Genesis. This new smartphone is expected to start selling on June 9th and will go for the price of $149.99 after a mail-in rebate and a new two-year agreement. Spec-wise users can expect a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, it features a clamshell design and a landscape QWERTY keyboard that reveals another 3.2-inch touchscreen display once flipped. There is a 5-megapixel camera, 32GB of on-board storage plus a microSD card slot that should be able to support up to 32GB as well. The dual-touchscreen smartphone is expected to run the Android 2.2 Froyo OS but no word if it will get any updates in the future.
