Mobile Carrier US Cellular has launched a new 4G router for consumers and small business owners, which offers 4G LTE connectivity.
The device is actually the LG2200D Wireless Router by Netgear customized specially for US Cellular, which allows the user to use the device in their home or at the office by simply taking it to the office with you.
The Netgear LG2200D isn’t a portable a router, which means you won’t be able to use it in your car. The router is capable of supporting up to 30 Wi-Fi clients as well as four ethernet-connected device through its LAN ports.
The device also has a USB port that can be used to share an external storage drive or even add a printer with network clients.
The router is now available and cost $99, however users will have to pay for the service on top of that charge. US Cellular will be offering a variety of plans with data caps ranging from 300MB up to 75GB.
