Along with the VMUltra Drive and other new devices, Velocity Micro unveiled its new and affordable 7-inch Android Tablet called the Cruz T507 at the CES 2012 that was recently held in Las Vegas, Nevada. No release date nor pricing details has been announced for the Cruz T507, however the company noted that it would be an affordable choice.
The T507 comes equipped with an 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display which means, the Cruz T507 will be a competitor of the 7-inch ViewPad E70 Tablet that was recently announced as well. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, accompanied by a Discrete ARM Mali 400MHz 3D Graphics, 512MB of DDR3 RAM, Flash Player 11 support, 8GB of internal storage and a front-facing camera for video chats.
The tablet also comes pre-loaded with applications which includes the Amazon Appstore, Kindle for Android, and QuickOffice Full suite. It has an HDMI output port that enables the user to share with friends on a larger screen plus it is stated that it will debut the market with the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
