Verizon Wireless Drops the Samsung Galaxy Tab price to $299.99 with two-year contract

Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet
Verizon Wireless has announced that they have drop the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab by almost half of what it was being offered for before. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet was first introduced to subscribers for a price of $499.99, so many questions are being asked now and I can sure bet that one of them is “Why such a huge price drop?” I think the main reason is because as a 7-inch touchscreen device with a 1GHz processor and some minimal specs such as a 3-Megapixel webcam is not much of a deal at $500 when compared to a much faster and powerful tablet such as the Motorola XOOM that comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, a dual-core Tegra 2 Processor, 32GB of internal memory and USB 3.0 connectivity for faster data transfer when compared to the Galaxy Tab USB 2.0 connectivity and goes for a price of $599.
