Verizon Wireless just announced that they will now start to offer the Motorola DROID Mini Smartphone to their customers. The DROID Mini comes with the same hardware specs as the ULTRA but in a smaller form factor, plus it has the same clean look and gets the same Kevlar composite unibody.
The DROID Mini comes with the company’s X8 SnapDragon S4 Pro-based computing engine, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. It features a 4.3-inch 720p touchscreen display plus a 10-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Other features of the miniature smartphone includes Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS/APGS, 4G LTE. However, the compact handset has a smaller battery of 2000mAh. Verizon plans to start selling the DROID Mini on August 29th for the price of $99.99 with a 2-year contract.
