ViewSonic has announced the coming of its ViewPad 7 and ViewPad 10 onto the US Market. The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 is a 7-inch Tablet that has a 800×480 capacitive touchscreen display and runs the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The ViewPad 7 is expected to be released on the market later this year at an estimated street price of $479. The ViewPad 7 is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 512MB of RAM, it has a G-Sensor, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and 3G connectivity. There are also other notable specs such as an integrated 0.3-Megapixel Webcam on the front and a 3-Megapixel Webcam that has autofocus on the back panel, it comes with a battery that offers up to 10 hours of operation and a microSD card slot for expansion of the memory.
The 10-inch ViewPad on the other hand features a 10.1-inch 1024×600 Capacitive Touchscreen display with LED-backlit, it is powered by an Intel Atom Processor running at 1.66GHz, it has a 16GB SSD for storage, 1GHz of RAM, a 1.3-Megapixel Webcam, WiFi, built-in microphone and comes preloaded with both Android 1.6 OS and Windows 7 Home Premium.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 10-inch model is scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2011 for an estimated street price of $629.
